Noorderslag 2027 Confirms First Eleven Dutch Acts for Groningen Showcase

Eurosonic Noorderslag has confirmed the first eleven acts for Noorderslag 2027, the annual closing day of the showcase event dedicated entirely to Dutch pop music. On Saturday 16 January 2027, they will take the stage at De Oosterpoort in Groningen to present themselves to an audience of music lovers and industry professionals.

The confirmed names include Elmer, Milolaathetlukken, Mula, Radio Z, Hondenfokker, Langa, Otto Club, MAHA, Eskalatie, FEMI and Onthaard. It is a mix of emerging talent and acts that have already made a name for themselves within the Dutch music scene. For decades, Noorderslag has been one of the most important stages for new Dutch artists, giving them a chance to reach a large audience and influential industry peers for the first time.

Alongside the showcases, Noorderslag is also home to the annual Popprijs ceremony, a prestigious award that includes a cash prize of 10,000 euros. Last year the award went to Suzan en Freek. Previous winners include Roxy Dekker in 2024, Joost in 2023 and Goldband in 2022.

Noorderslag closes out Eurosonic Noorderslag, a four day event shining a spotlight on emerging European musical talent. The first three festival days are dedicated to the European music scene. So far, 41 international acts have already been confirmed for Eurosonic 2027, selected in collaboration with 28 EBU radio stations and representing 31 European countries. Among the Eurosonic confirmations are 3FM talents MICHA and Isabel van Gelder, both of whom have previously performed at the festival. ESNS has in the past given early exposure to names like Stromae, Fontaines D.C., Sam Smith, Hozier and Dua Lipa.

For concert goers who want to attend the program at De Oosterpoort, tickets go on sale on Friday 25 September at 12:00. Anyone wanting to discover the lesser known acts at other venues around the city can do so for free. NPO 3FM will be broadcasting live from the festival on Noorderslag Saturday.
