How does this work?
  1. 1.You open a plan and say what you have in mind. One line is enough.
  2. 2.Anyone else going joins in one click. No request, no approval.
  3. 3.Inside the plan you agree where and when. You can leave whenever you want.

Meeting someone new

  • Arrange to meet inside the venue or at the entrance — never at someone's home or another location.
  • Anyone can read a plan. Do not put your address, phone number or bank details on it.
  • Never pay a stranger up front for a ticket. Buy through the official seller.

Paradiso

Weteringschans 6 - 8

1017 SG Amsterdam

Paradiso occupies a neo Romanesque church on Weteringschans in Amsterdam, constructed in 1880 for the Vrije Gemeente, a liberal Protestant congregation that left the building in 1965. Two years later, in October 1967, a group of hippie music fans led by Willem de Ridder and several others squatted the empty space. After negotiations with the city, it officially opened on 30 March 1968 under the name Cosmisch Ontspanningscentrum Paradiso, or Cosmic Relaxation Center Paradiso. The building was listed on the Dutch national monuments register on 16 September 1980, which protects it from demolition and restricts structural alterations. In its early years the venue served as a gathering place for Amsterdam's psychedelic and beat scene, screening films, hosting liquid light shows and speakers, and later adding a weekly jazz night.
