About The Get Up Kids
The Get Up Kids built the blueprint that countless emo and pop punk bands followed. The Kansas City five piece broke through with their 1999 album Something To Write Home About, an instant classic that went on to influence acts like Fall Out Boy, Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday.
