Neurosis kicked off their fall tour in San Francisco with new vocalist Aaron Turner, and Roadburn Festival in Tilburg follows in April 2027.

Neurosis kicked off their North American fall tour on Friday at The Fillmore in San Francisco, the first of two sold out shows at the famous venue. The run of shows continues until January 2, when the band plays in Los Angeles. It's the first real tour for the influential post metal band since their return earlier this year. Before this, only a handful of one off shows were on the schedule, including the Fire in the Mountains festival in Montana in July and a one time show with Acid Bath in Asheville, North Carolina, in early September.
The band is touring behind the album An Undying Love for a Burning World. That record arrived as a surprise when Neurosis announced their comeback in March after seven years of silence, and it topped Consequence's midyear list of the best albums of 2026. At the same time, the group revealed that Aaron Turner, known from ISIS and SUMAC, is the new vocalist and guitarist. He replaces longtime frontman Scott Kelly.
In San Francisco, the band played eleven songs, six of them from the new record. A standout was the live debut of Seething and Scattered, also from the new album. Broken Ground from Fires Within Fires was also played for the first time since 2019. The rest of the set included We Are Torn Wide Open, Mirror, Deep First, Red Rays, End of the Harvest, The Tide, Lost and Untethered, and closed with Blind Times of Grace.
The tour schedule includes two nights in Brooklyn, two in Chicago, Portland and Seattle, and a show in Boston on December 12 with Converge and Coalesce. Openers named include Uniform, Primitive Man, Great Falls and Trigger Object.
For Dutch fans, there's a concrete reason to look forward to something: on April 17, 2027, Neurosis play Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, where Emma Ruth Rundle is also on the bill. That gives the Dutch audience a chance to see the new lineup with Aaron Turner live.
