Adam Beyer is one of the defining figures in techno, best known as the founder of Drumcode Records, the Swedish label that became a cornerstone of the genre since the mid 1990s. He emerged alongside fellow Swedish artists Cari Lekebusch and Jesper Dahlbäck, building his reputation through a string of underground club hits that earned him bookings across Europe. Over the years he has gradually incorporated more progressive and trance influences into his sets, finding new audiences at larger festivals while keeping his roots in the harder, functional end of electronic music. Beyond his own releases, which include four studio albums and collaborations with artists like Bart Skils, Green Velvet and Layton Giordani, Beyer runs a weekly radio show called Drumcode Live with an audience of around 11 million listeners, making it one of the most widely heard EDM broadcasts going. His 2025 track "Desolate Lands" shows he is still very much active in the studio.
