About
Swiss musician Anna Erhard is based in Berlin and has carved out a distinct voice in European indie pop. Her sound sits somewhere between the laid back drift of Kurt Vile and the playful inventiveness of early Beck, built from distorted guitars, lo fi keyboards and sharp, witty storytelling. She has a knack for turning everyday observations, chance encounters and travels into something catchy and oddly vivid. Her single "1000 Sheep" marks a new chapter in her career and serves as the lead track from her album of the same name. It's a good entry point into what makes her appealing: a studied nonchalance that never feels forced, and a way of making small moments land with real weight.
