Arankai is an American artist from Madison who tears down the walls between alternative metal, rap, rock and electronica. He started making noise around 2022 with singles like Hangman, A Good Day To D13 and Bloody Mary (Dance With My Hands), all of them explosive tracks built on raw and personal lyrics. His debut album A Portrait Of Red followed, and he has since pushed further into heavier territory with tracks Choke and Playing God, drawing inspiration from the bands that shaped him early on: Deftones, Sevendust and Korn. Live, he has been known to play an electric Hello Kitty guitar, which tells you something about the mix of intensity and personality he brings to his music.
