About
Sleep Theory blend heavy metal and R&B in a way that not many bands from Memphis are pulling off right now. The quartet built their sound around vocalist Cullen Moore, a US Army veteran, and the combination of clean singing, unclean vocals from guitarist Daniel Pruitt, and a hard rock backbone that draws on everyone from Linkin Park to Michael Jackson. Their 2023 debut EP Paper Hearts racked up over 33 million streams within a few months, which is a serious number for a band that young. Their debut album Afterglow arrived in May 2025, preceded by singles including "Static" and "Gravity". The record landed at number 117 on the US Billboard 200. They have been putting out official music videos at a steady pace, keeping the momentum going since Paper Hearts first put them on the map.
