From Ashes to New blend rap vocals, heavy guitars, and electronic textures into a sound that draws comparisons to Linkin Park and Korn, and that's not an accident: the Lancaster, Pennsylvania band openly counts those acts among their influences alongside Bone Thugs n Harmony, Eminem, and Pantera. Founding member Matt Brandyberry has been the one constant through years of lineup shuffles, and the band hit their stride once Danny Case stepped in as lead vocalist in 2017. Since then they've put out three albums, with singles like "Crazy", "Through It All", and "Panic" cracking the top ten of the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Their 2023 album Blackout kept the momentum going, with "Nightmare", "Until We Break", "Hate Me Too", and "Armageddon" all finding an audience. The band also has a slightly unexpected credit on their résumé: they recorded "Hail the Crown" with CFO$, the theme song for WWE 205 Live. A fifth album, Reflections, is on the way, and the lead single "New Disease" sees Brandyberry taking aim at social media culture and the obsession with being noticed at any cost.
