About
Ashley Campbell made her mark early by touring on banjo alongside her father Glen Campbell during his farewell tour in 2011 and 2012, and she contributed to the Grammy winning soundtrack of the documentary Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me. Her debut single "Remembering", released in 2015 on Dot Records, is a heartfelt song about her father's battle with Alzheimer's disease, and it landed at number 56 on the Country Airplay chart. Her debut album The Lonely One arrived in 2018 on her own imprint, Whistle Stop Records, after Dot Records shut down. Produced by her brother Cal, all 13 tracks were co written by Campbell herself. Since 2021 she has performed mostly as a duo with guitarist Thor Jensen, and in early 2024 the two joined the Postmodern Jukebox ensemble for a run of concerts across Europe.
