Best known in the Netherlands as a member of the Anglo Dutch boy band Caught in the Act, Bastiaan Ragas has spent decades proving he is far more than a pop act from the 1990s. After the group split in 1998, he released his debut solo album Tomorrow is Looking Good and went on to rack up musical theatre credits including Radames in the Dutch production of Aïda and d'Artagnan in 3 Musketiers. That last show is also where he met TV presenter Tooske Breugem, with whom he scored a hit single called Alles. Ragas has kept himself busy across just about every corner of Dutch entertainment. He has done voice work, including the Dutch voice of Sinbad in Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, appeared in TV dramas, hosted shows, written books, and founded his own theatre production company. Caught in the Act even reunited for a run of successful comeback concerts in Germany, releasing the album Back for Love in 2015.
