Bebe Rexha

About

Also known as: Bleta Rexha, 비비 렉사

Best known for her powerhouse pop hooks and a knack for writing hits for other people, Bebe Rexha co wrote Eminem's Grammy winning "The Monster" before most people knew her name. Born Bleta Rexha in Brooklyn, she cut her teeth as lead vocalist for Pete Wentz's experimental project Black Cards, then went solo and signed with Warner Records. Her debut EP I Don't Wanna Grow Up got the ball rolling, but it was a string of high profile collaborations that really put her on the map: "Hey Mama" with David Guetta and Nicki Minaj, "In the Name of Love" with Martin Garrix, and the crossover smash "Meant to Be" with Florida Georgia Line, which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her 2018 debut album Expectations landed at number 13 on the Billboard 200 and earned her a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. She kept the momentum going with Better Mistakes in 2021 and the self titled Bebe in 2023, the latter featuring "I'm Good (Blue)" with David Guetta, a track that hit number 4 in the US and topped charts in twenty two countries. Four Grammy nominations and wins at the ACM Awards, MTV VMAs and Billboard Music Awards tell the story of someone who has quietly become one of pop's most consistent hitmakers.
