About
Also known as: Leonardo Roelandschap
Bizzey, the Dutch rapper and DJ born Leonardo Roelandschap in Amersfoort, first made his name as one third of Yellow Claw, the group he co founded in 2010 that grew from a weekly night at Amsterdam club Jimmy Woo into an act touring internationally and collaborating with artists worldwide. After six years he stepped away from the group in 2016 to go solo, and the move paid off fast. His track "Traag", recorded with rappers Jozo and Kraantje Pappie, spent 46 weeks in the Dutch Single Top 100 and racked up over 260 million YouTube views, finding a particularly massive audience in Turkey. His debut solo album "November" hit number one in the Dutch Album Top 100, and the single "Ja!" topped the Single Top 100 as well. In 2019 he took home the FunX Music Award for Male Artist of the Year.
