About
Brit Floyd started life in Liverpool in 2011 when guitarist Damian Darlington, a veteran of The Australian Pink Floyd Show, decided he could push the tribute concept further. His goal was a more detailed, emotionally coherent journey through Pink Floyd's catalogue, with tighter musicianship, better visuals, and lighting that actually does the songs justice. Several former members of the Australian show came along for the ride. Over the years the band has drawn in some genuine Pink Floyd alumni: bassist and vocalist Guy Pratt joined them on stage in Liverpool in 2013, and saxophonist Scott Page played alongside them in Los Angeles in 2015. Their 2024 P.U.L.S.E tour, celebrating 30 years of The Division Bell, brought special guests including Durga McBroom, Harry Waters, and P.J. Olsson, and went well enough that the band recorded one of the shows.
