About
Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso are a Buenos Aires duo blending experimental trap, hip hop, electronic music, and jazz fusion into something that genuinely defies easy categorization. Catriel Guerreiro and Ulises Guerriero have been part of the first wave of Argentine urban music, and both have separately recorded sessions with producer Bizarrap while collaborating with artists like Lali, Tini, and Duki. Their live shows are a whole thing on their own, with live instruments, genre collisions, and a stage presence that feels theatrical and loose at the same time. Their October 2024 Tiny Desk Concert went viral and kicked off a remarkable run. The EP Papota followed in early 2025, complete with a short film, and it swept the Latin Grammys with five wins including Best Alternative Music Album and Best Pop Song. Coachella, The Tonight Show, and an opening slot on Kendrick Lamar's Grand National Tour in Latin America all came in quick succession. Their influences tell you a lot: Pantera, Megadeth, and Kendrick Lamar all get name checked, and somehow that mix makes total sense when you hear them.
