Cato van Dijck built her international reputation as part of My Baby, a group known for blending psychedelic swamp sounds, blues rock and hypnotic grooves. That project took her to some of the biggest stages around, including Glastonbury, Lowlands and Pinkpop. Her voice and playing, spanning bass, piano and guitar, pull together threads of roots, soul, pop, jazz and folk in a way that feels organic rather than calculated. In her duo work with guitarist Anton Goudsmit she carries that same spirit into more intimate territory. The combination leans into intuition, letting two distinct musical personalities find a shared language on the spot. It's the kind of collaboration where the rules get thrown out and something genuinely unpredictable tends to happen.
