About
Also known as: Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons
Damian Lazarus is a British DJ and electronic music producer with a sound that drifts between deep, hypnotic dance music and something far more atmospheric. His debut album Smoke the Monster Out arrived in 2009 after two years in the making, and he followed it with a mix for the respected Fabric series. A big chunk of his work has come out under the banner Damian Lazarus and The Ancient Moons, a project that lets him stretch into more textured, psychedelic territory, with records like Message from the Other Side and Heart of Sky. More recently he put out Flourish in 2020 and Beijing Spring in 2022, a record inspired by a film of the same name, showing he is far from content to stay in one lane.
