DJ Tennis, the alias of Italian producer Manfredi Romano, runs deep in the melodic techno world with a signature sound that threads emotion through club music. Based out of Italy, he co founded the Life and Death label in 2010, which has become a home for releases that sit somewhere between introspective and dancefloor ready. His remix catalogue is impressively wide ranging, covering everyone from Ludovico Einaudi to Diplo and WhoMadeWho, which says a lot about his versatility. He has played practically every major festival you can think of, from Glastonbury to Burning Man to Tomorrowland, and his DJ Kicks mix from 2017 is a good entry point if you want to understand his taste. More recently, he teamed up with Carlita to create the Astra Club, a project blending DJ sets with live performance, and in 2024 he launched Munchietown, a cooking show that brings together guests from both the food and music worlds.
