Kölsch has built a global following through a sound that sits at the intersection of techno and emotional depth. Raised in Copenhagen, and rooted in the freewheeling spirit of Freetown Christiania, he has played everywhere from Panoramabar and fabric London to Coachella and Tomorrowland. His discography spans albums including 1977, 1983, 1989 and I Talk To Water, with tracks like 'Loreley', 'All That Matters' and 'Grey' becoming touchstones in the melodic techno and house world. On the collaboration front, he has worked alongside Coldplay, Imogen Heap, London Grammar and Damon Albarn. Beyond the DJ booth, Kölsch has pushed into live territory with Kölsch and the Machine, an analog driven live format that reworks material from his catalogue and blurs the line between human performance and technology.
