About
De Règâhs are a group from Den Haag whose music blends flamenco and gipsy jazz, delivered with the kind of technical guitar playing that rewards a proper theatre setting. Their songs carry a strong identity rooted in the Dutch language and a distinctly Haagse sense of humour, giving them a personality that sets them apart from more generic acoustic acts. Millions of streams have long since pushed them beyond a regional following, and their live shows now draw audiences from across the Netherlands, with a notably young crowd of students making up a large share of the room. They wrote the track Groeten uit Den Haag as part of their concert programme of the same name, framing the whole show as a kind of musical postcard sent to fans around the country.
