De Zingende Dokters are a Dutch cover band with a nostalgic streak, playing semi acoustic pop music rooted in Nederpop. Their sets pull from classics spanning multiple decades, mixing familiar singalong staples with the occasional more contemporary surprise. The mood is warm and convivial rather than polished and distant, the kind of afternoon where the audience ends up dancing without quite deciding to. They have a regular spot on the Vredenburg Open Stage, performing twice a month as part of the Kreukelzone Friday afternoon series.
