With over 21 million copies sold worldwide, No Angel turned Dido into one of the defining voices of the early 2000s. That debut record gave us "Here with Me" and "Thank You", the latter getting a second life when Eminem sampled it for "Stan", one of the most talked about tracks of that era. Her follow up, Life for Rent, kept the momentum going with "White Flag" and cemented her place among the best selling UK artists of the decade. Both albums sit in the top 10 best selling records of the 2000s in the UK. After stepping back from music to raise her son, she returned with Girl Who Got Away in 2013 and hit the top 5 in the UK. Still on My Mind arrived in 2019, her first tour in 15 years behind it, and the same year she picked up the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection. More recently she teamed up with her brother Rollo Armstrong, releasing The Last Summer as a collaborative album under his project name R Plus.
