About
Dyde is a singer from Utrecht who writes Dutch language pop built around honest lyrics. She turns real emotions into hooky songs, with big choruses and themes people recognise, and a warm voice that carries both strength and vulnerability. Songs like 'nog even hier' and 'sterker dan je denkt' are the ones that connect with both younger and older listeners. Her track record is solid. She took part in The Voice of Holland, played in the Glazen Huis for 3FM, won 3FM's The Battle during Serious Request, and reached the final of the Grote Prijs van Nederland in the Best Live Act category. A jury also picked her unanimously to represent the province of Utrecht in the national final of the regional song contest. She lists Danique, Olivia Dean, Pommelien Thijs and MEAU among her influences.
