About
Edge of Paradise built their sound around a striking contrast: heavy, industrial tinged guitars locked together with classical textures and the enormous vocal range of frontwoman Margarita Monet. The Los Angeles band came together in 2011 and hit the road hard after their debut, sharing stages with names like Kamelot and members of Megadeth and Slayer across more than 20 states. Their 2015 album Immortal Waltz, produced by Michael Wagener, earned serious critical attention, with one reviewer calling it one of the most unique sounding albums in a long time. Their 2017 EP Alive showed a bigger, more polished side of the band, cracking the Billboard Hard Music Albums chart and prompting hard rock press to take them even more seriously. They have kept a steady release pace since, putting out the studio albums Universe, The Unknown, Hologram, and most recently Prophecy in 2025. Monet remains the magnetic center of it all, her voice described as earth shattering in range and instantly iconic.
