About
Dynazty are one of those Stockholm heavy metal bands that quietly grew into something much bigger than their glam tinged early sound suggested. Founded in 2007 and fronted by Nils Molin, who also sings for Amaranthe, they have put out eight full length albums spanning hard rock, power metal, and symphonic metal, each one nudging the sound somewhere new. Their turn with Renatus in 2013 was the real pivot point, ditching the party rock of their earlier records for darker, more spiritual lyrical territory and a heavier melodic direction. The band signed to AFM Records in 2018, releasing Firesign, The Dark Delight, and Final Advent in quick succession. Their latest album Game of Faces, streamed in full in early 2025, shows they are still very much in motion, and a full live show from Munich the same year is also out there for anyone wanting to see what they look like on a proper stage.
