About

Also known as: F.L.G., Fedde J. Le Grand, Fedde La Grand, Fedde Le Grande, Feddle Le Grand, Fredde Le Grand, Freddie Le Grande

Dutch house DJ and producer Fedde Le Grand put Utrecht on the global dance map when his 2006 single "Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit" hit number one on the UK Singles Chart and stayed on the chart for 30 weeks. That track alone opened doors to a serious remix career, with names like Robbie Williams, Madonna, Coldplay and Fatboy Slim all coming to him for reworks. In 2011 he landed five number one spots on the Beatport charts, one of which was his remix of Coldplay's "Paradise", a cut that earned him a support slot at one of their Madrid concerts. Beyond his own productions, Le Grand has had a hand in shaping careers of artists including Nicky Romero and Deniz Koyu. His debut album Output dropped in 2009, followed by Something Real in 2016, and he has been a resident DJ for Sensation, playing the event in more than 20 countries.
