Afrojack, the DJ and producer born Nick van de Wall in Spijkenisse, Netherlands, built his name on massive festival sets and club tracks that sit squarely in the electro and big room house space. His track "Take Over Control" featuring Eva Simons charted in ten countries, and he went on to co produce on Pitbull's number one hit "Give Me Everything" alongside Ne Yo and Nayer, and contribute to Beyoncé's "Run the World (Girls)". Forbes ranked him the seventh highest earning DJ in the world in 2013, and he has consistently placed in DJ Mag's Top 100. His debut album Forget the World landed in 2014, and collaborations with David Guetta have remained a through line in his career, from early co productions to the 2017 single "Another Life" featuring Ester Dean and the 2022 track "Trampoline" with Missy Elliott, Bia and Doechii. He also runs his own label, Wall Recordings, which has moved between partnerships with Spinnin' Records and Armada Music before going independent again in 2019.
