Few DJs have climbed as fast or as high as Martin Garrix. The Dutch producer born Martijn Garritsen broke through in 2013 with "Animals", which shot to number one in multiple European countries and made him the youngest person ever to top the Beatport charts. That track set the tone for a career built on big room house bangers and festival stages, from Coachella to Tomorrowland to Ultra Music Festival, where he became the youngest headliner at just 17. His collaborations read like a who's who of pop and dance music: Usher, Ed Sheeran, Avicii, Bebe Rexha, Dua Lipa, Troye Sivan, and Khalid have all featured on his records. He topped DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list five times, in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022 and 2024, and in 2016 he launched his own label Stmpd Rcrds after a public split with Spinnin' Records. He also co wrote the official UEFA Euro 2020 anthem "We Are the People" with U2's Bono and The Edge.
