About
Dutch DJ and producer Mike Williams, born Mike Willemsen, is widely credited as one of the key figures in shaping future bounce, the infectious subgenre of future house that swept through the EDM world. Signed to Spinnin' Records and championed early on by Tiësto, he built his reputation through a string of sharp remixes, including a bootleg of Calvin Harris's "Blame" that racked up over 3 million SoundCloud plays and became a staple in Oliver Heldens' sets. His collaborative track with R3hab, "Lullaby", is probably his biggest moment so far, sitting at 200 million Spotify streams and earning eight gold and four platinum certifications across the globe. Along the way he has worked with Felix Jaehn, Brooks, Galantis and Tiësto himself, and he landed at number 60 in the 2017 DJ Mag Top 100. He also runs his own radio show, Mike Williams on Track, on Dutch station SLAM!
