About
Florrie spent years behind the kit for Xenomania, the production house behind hits for Girls Aloud, Kylie Minogue and the Pet Shop Boys, before anyone heard her sing. She got the job through a chance connection to a singer's manager, and it was Xenomania boss Brian Higgins who nudged her to try vocals on one of her own songs. That led to a solo career built on free downloads and remixes from people like Fred Falke, with a run of EPs: Introduction, Experiments, Late and later Sirens. She also modelled for Nina Ricci and Dolce & Gabbana, and spent a stretch signed to Sony Music before coming back as an independent artist. Her debut album, The Lost Ones, arrived in 2024, after the 2023 compilation Personal, which collected her comeback tracks including Borderline. Fans of smart, hook heavy British pop will find plenty to love.
