About
Future Husband started out as the solo project of Dutch singer songwriter Adura Sulaiman, who launched it in 2021 after time spent playing with acts like Feng Suave and Echo Movis. The debut single Ritual arrived in October 2021, quickly followed by festival slots at Noorderslag and Grasnapolsky, and the debut EP I Love You Forever came out in May 2022. Support gigs at Best Kept Secret and Welcome to The Village rounded out that first run. By 2023 Future Husband had grown into a full band, with Kike Zwagerman, Ivar Otten and Gino Buragevic joining Sulaiman, all three having previously shared a stage with her in Feng Suave. The first proper band single, Good Company, dropped in December 2023, and 2024 brought a busy stretch that included the Popronde circuit and support slots for Corinne Bailey Rae, Crumb and Peach Pit.
