About
Guy Verlinde is a Belgian bluesman from Zedelgem who moves easily between folk, acoustic rock and the deeper end of the blues. He fronts The Artisans of Solace, a band built from players who also come out of acts like Brihang and The Bluesbones. The group has collected several Belgian Blues Awards, including a Best Band win in 2025, and they put out a live album called Live At Minard. He also plays a quieter, solo kind of show called Me & My Guitars, where each guitar on stage gets its own story. Some of them have no pick up at all and are simply miked from outside, so the natural sound stays close and clean. In between songs he talks about his musical heroes, what the blues has meant to him, and the moments where music and life crossed paths. Think of it as a spoken and played autobiography.
