About
Henge are a Manchester band who have built a cult following by committing fully to their own mythology. Performing as alien characters Zpor, Goo, Sol and Nom, they play a genre they've coined Cosmic Dross, blending rock with heavy electronic elements in a way that feels genuinely strange and genuinely fun. Their debut album Attention Earth! landed in 2018, and that same year they took home Live Act of the Year at the Independent Festival Awards, which tells you everything about where they shine brightest. Beyond the music, Henge have expanded their universe into a series of comics produced with artists including Boo Cook, known for his work on the British comic 2000 AD. Three issues have come out so far. They also picked up a silver award from the Tokyo Film Awards in 2022 for the video to their single New Planet, proof that the visual side of the project is just as considered as the sound.
