About
One of the longest running acts in German stoner rock, Colour Haze has been shaping the heavy psych scene since the mid nineties. The Munich quartet, built around guitarist and vocalist Stefan Koglek, started out with a Kyuss influenced sound before pushing toward something more melodic and complex, a shift that critics really noticed on their 2008 album All. Koglek's vocals sit at the heart of that evolution, weaving through long, jammy arrangements that owe as much to jazz as they do to heavy rock. Over the years, Colour Haze has racked up a substantial catalogue on Elektrohasch Records, with their most recent studio effort Sacred landing in 2022. They've also captured their live energy across three dedicated live albums. Their reputation as a festival act has taken them from headline slots at Desert Fest to the Indie March Festival in Bangalore, and they've appeared twice on Germany's prestigious Rockpalast broadcast, in 2007 and 2019.
