About

All Them Witches carry a sound that pulls from stoner rock, blues, psychedelic sprawl and desert rock into something distinctly their own. The Nashville band built their reputation the hard way, self releasing records and getting picked up by German heavy psych label Elektrohasch before landing with New West Records in 2015. That move brought them Dying Surfer Meets His Maker, tracked in six days in a remote Tennessee mountain cabin, and later Sleeping Through the War, produced by Dave Cobb with guest vocals from Caitlin Rose, Erin Rae and Tristen, plus harmonica from Mickey Raphael. Their 2020 album Nothing as the Ideal was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in Studio Two and earned a spot on Metal Hammer's best metal albums of that year. The band has kept shifting shape over the years, losing and regaining keyboard player Allan Van Cleave and releasing a monthly run of 13 tracks through 2022 they called a Baker's Dozen. Founding drummer Robby Staebler stepped away in 2024, with Christian Powers stepping in behind the kit.
