Boardwalk Rock, the C3 Presents festival in Ocean City, Maryland, is coming back in 2027. This edition runs from May 14 through 16 and follows a year in which the music weekend had to be cancelled. The lineup has now been announced, headlined by Korn, Bad Omens and Iron Maiden, each closing out their own day.

Korn closes out Friday. That first day also features Breaking Benjamin, The Prodigy, Cypress Hill, Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, Clutch, Sevendust, Theory of a Deadman, Filter, All Them Witches, Corrosion of Conformity, Eve 6, Local H, Nonpoint and Soil.

On Saturday, May 15, Bad Omens is the main act. Behind them you'll find Good Charlotte, Marilyn Manson, Motionless in White, Bullet for My Valentine, Poppy, Tesla, Superheaven, Buckcherry, Drowning Pool, Sponge, Showing Teeth, Tetrarch and Asava, among others. Sunday belongs to Iron Maiden, backed by Alice in Chains, Judas Priest, Sleeping With Sirens, The Pretty Reckless, Down, The Warning, Loathe, The Hu, Apocalyptica, GWAR, Dirty Honey, The Flys and Mac Sabbath.

The presale kicks off on Thursday, October 22 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. During the first hour, the cheapest general admission tickets are available, and at 11:00 a.m. the general sale follows with the remaining tickets. There are single day and three day passes in the GA, GA+, VIP and Platinum categories. With GA+, you get access to a private lounge with shade and seating, air conditioned restrooms, concierge service and free water. VIP offers separate viewing areas at every stage, including a raised platform at the main stage, plus two VIP lounges with their own bar. Platinum goes even further, with front row viewing space at all stages, two lounges with free bars and food all day, and a private entrance.

What makes this festival special is its location right on the ocean. Besides three days of live music, visitors have access to the Jolly Roger at the Pier amusement park, which sits within the festival grounds, as well as the many restaurants, bars and shops along the Ocean City Boardwalk.

For Dutch fans, this is mostly interesting as a travel destination: having Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Korn and Alice in Chains at a single festival is rare, even though Ocean City is on the other side of the Atlantic. Some of these acts can usually be seen at summer festivals and on tours in Europe.
