Superheaven are a Doylestown, Pennsylvania band whose sound pulls from 90s grunge, emo and post hardcore in a way that resists easy labeling. Guitarist and vocalist Taylor Madison has always pushed back against tags like "shoegaze" or "pop punk", insisting the band is simply a rock band. They started out as Daylight, releasing their debut album Jar in 2013 on Run for Cover Records before a legal clash with a Spanish act of the same name forced a rebrand. That debut album later got a second life when "Youngest Daughter" went viral on TikTok, sending the track to number three on the Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. After going quiet following their second album Ours Is Chrome in 2015, recorded with producer Will Yip, the band gradually came back to life through reunion shows and festival slots. A full comeback arrived in late 2024 with new singles "Long Gone" and "Numb to What Is Real", teasing a self titled third studio album. Their 2025 video for "Stare At The Void" shows the band firmly back in motion.
