About
The Warning are a three piece rock band from Monterrey, Mexico, made up of sisters Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal Vélez, playing guitar, drums, and bass respectively. They first grabbed global attention when a YouTube video of them covering Metallica's Enter Sandman went viral, racking up over 26 million views and earning a shoutout from Kirk Hammett himself. That early buzz snowballed into something serious: a deal with Lava and Republic Records, tours supporting Muse, Foo Fighters, and Guns N' Roses, and a sold out 19 date European headline run in 2024. Their fourth studio album, Keep Me Fed, dropped in June 2024 and followed a string of singles including Qué Más Quieres, which made its video debut on MTV Live. The band also completed a Japan tour that year at the invitation of Band Maid. History caught up with them when their single Kerosene topped Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, making The Warning the first all women act and the first Mexican band ever to hit number one in the chart's 45 year run.
