Motionless in White built their reputation on a sound that blends metalcore with gothic and industrial metal flavors, making them one of the more distinct acts to come out of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Fronted by Chris "Motionless" Cerulli, the band found early momentum through tours and their debut full length Creatures, which landed on the Billboard Top 200 in 2010. Their name actually comes from an Eighteen Visions song, which gives you a pretty good sense of the influences they were pulling from early on. Over the course of six studio albums on labels including Fearless Records and Roadrunner Records, they have pushed their sound in darker and heavier directions. Graveyard Shift, Disguise, and Scoring the End of the World show a band that keeps evolving without abandoning the gothic edge that sets them apart. A fun piece of trivia: their track "Demon in Your Dreams" became the entrance music for WWE wrestler Rhea Ripley, which speaks to how far their reach has extended beyond the metal scene.
