About
The Plot in You started as a solo outlet for Landon Tewers, who was juggling the project alongside his duties in post hardcore act Before Their Eyes. He eventually went all in, renamed it, and built a full band around it. Based out of Hancock County, Ohio, the group blends metalcore with post hardcore energy, and over the years has shifted its sound in increasingly personal directions. Their catalog spans five studio albums, from the raw aggression of First Born in 2011 through to Swan Song in 2021, with each record marking a clear step in how far Tewers was willing to push the emotional content of his writing. Signed at various points to Rise Records, StaySick Recordings, and Fearless Records, the band has kept finding new homes without losing their identity. Recent tracks like "Don't Look Away" and "Forgotten" suggest they are still very much active and developing their sound.
