Few bands in the post hardcore world have leaned as hard into the contrast between delicate and devastating as Sleeping With Sirens. Fronted by Kellin Quinn, whose leggero tenor can float above clean pop melodies one moment and cut through heavy riffs the next, the Orlando outfit built a devoted following from their 2010 debut onward. Their second album, Let's Cheers to This, was the real breakthrough, driven by the single "If You Can't Hang", which went double platinum in the US with two million copies sold. From there the band kept shifting gears across a string of albums on Rise, Epitaph, Warner Bros. and Sumerian Records. Feel debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, Madness gave them the anthemic "Kick Me", and later records like How It Feels to Be Lost saw them pull back toward the heavier sound that first made fans take notice. Eight full length albums in, SWS have proven they are not a band content to stand still.
