About
Heretoir started in 2006 as a solo project from David "Eklatanz" C., who also came out of Agrypnie, and grew into a full band blending post rock and shoegaze with modern metal. Their self titled debut landed in 2011 on Northern Silence Productions, a concept record about a protagonist who has lost a loved one and the thin line between grief, longing, anger and hope. The live side picked up fast. They've shared stages with Agalloch, Alcest, Sólstafir and Negură Bunget, played Summer Breeze and Rockharz, and ran a 2017 European tour with Ghost Bath that hit over 15 countries. The Circle followed that year, then Nightsphere in October 2023, the first album where every member had a hand in the songwriting. It was produced and mixed by David German and Justin Felder, with Nikita Kamprad handling the mastering. Their fourth album, Solastalgia, came out in 2025 on AOP Records.
