About
Also known as: Hilary Erhard Duff, Hillary Duff
Hilary Duff's second album Metamorphosis shot straight to the top of the Billboard 200 in 2003 and went four times platinum, cementing her status as one of the defining pop acts of that era. The records kept coming with Hilary Duff and Dignity, both certified platinum or gold, and a greatest hits package Most Wanted that did equally well. Altogether she has moved an estimated 15 million copies worldwide, and Billboard placed her at number 73 on their Top 100 Women Artists of the 21st Century list. She has since been cited as a blueprint for the wave of Disney Channel pop stars that followed her. Duff never stopped working across music and other fields. After a quieter stretch she returned with Breathe In. Breathe Out. on RCA in 2015, then switched to Atlantic Records for her sixth studio album Luck... or Something in 2026. On the acting side she produced and starred in the Emmy winning Hulu sitcom How I Met Your Father, and Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world that same year.
