Hindley Street Country Club started out in 2017 as a studio project with a simple but ambitious idea: take beloved songs from the 1970s through the 1990s, give them serious production polish, and put them online every week. That formula, dreamed up by Adelaide bassist and producer Constantine Delo and keyboardist Darren Mullan, has since snowballed into something genuinely remarkable. The collective now sits at over a billion cumulative views across platforms, with more than 1.33 million YouTube subscribers and a global audience that stretches from North America to Asia and beyond. What sets HSCC apart is the rotating cast of South Australian musicians who can nail virtually any arrangement, and a commitment to recreating original productions with real fidelity. Members of Fleetwood Mac, Kiss, Christopher Cross, and Leo Sayer have all spoken warmly about the group's takes on their songs. Cold Chisel guitarist Ian Moss even joined them for a cover of the Beatles' While My Guitar Gently Weeps. The collective has grown well beyond the screen too, performing at events like the Singapore Grand Prix and the Hong Kong Sevens.
