About
House of Protection is the project that Stephen Harrison and Aric Improta built after leaving Fever 333, and it sounds nothing like a side project. The Los Angeles duo blends alternative metal, electronic textures, rapcore and post hardcore into something genuinely hard to pin down. Their debut EP Galore, released on Red Bull Records in September 2024 and produced by Jordan Fish of Bring Me the Horizon, announced them properly. The standout single "Pulling Teeth" came with a music video shot at the bottom of a wall of death in Ahmedabad, India, stunt drivers circling them on motorcycles and in cars. Neither Harrison nor Improta had fronted a band before, so they share lead vocals here, which gives the project an unusual dynamic. Their debut single landed on the WWE 2K25 soundtrack, they appeared on the Architects single "Brain Dead", and Spotify flagged them on their Artists to Watch 2025 list. Their second EP Outrun You All followed in May 2025, with singles like "Afterlife" and "Fire" showing the duo hitting their stride.
