About
Also known as: Lachlan Dalton
Born in Australia and now based in Portugal, Jafunk works as a producer, multi instrumentalist and DJ whose sound sits at the crossroads of funk, disco, soul and jazz. The grooves he crafts feel simultaneously classic and current, which explains how they have racked up over 130 million streams worldwide and landed airplay on BBC Radio 1. He brings a fresh, modern angle to the kind of music that makes it genuinely difficult to stand still, keeping the spirit of funk and disco alive without just recreating the past.
