Jayh, born Jaouad Ait Taleb Nasser, is an Amsterdam based Dutch singer and producer who has been a fixture in the Dutch hip hop scene for two decades. He first made his mark in 2005 as a producer, crafting the track Wat wil je doen? for The Partysquad, and quickly built a reputation as a go to collaborator, lending his voice to hooks for artists like Lange Frans and Baas B, Dio, and THC. His debut album Jayh Jawson arrived in 2011 after signing to Top Notch, cementing his status as more than just a behind the scenes talent. Jayh consistently shows up across the Dutch music landscape, whether writing, producing, or singing. He collaborated with Famke Louise and Badd Dimes on the single Ben je down? in 2018, and that same year appeared in the Dutch televised production The Passion. In 2024 he became an ambassador for the Sikkelcelfonds, using his platform to raise awareness of sickle cell disease.
