Joseph Capriati built his reputation the hard way, grinding through club residencies in southern Italy before breaking internationally with a run of EPs on Drumcode and CLR in 2009. Mentored early on by Rino Cerrone and Markantonio, the Caserta born DJ and producer quickly developed a sound that spans techno, tech house and minimal, earning him spots at Berghain, Fabric and Awakenings. His 2013 album Self Portrait on Drumcode drew serious praise from DJ Mag, and he followed it up with Metamorfosi in 2020, a record that became the foundation for his own event series of the same name. The Metamorfosi parties, hosted under his own Redimension label, have grown into one of the more talked about club concepts in European techno, with residencies at Amnesia in Ibiza and sold out nights in London. He also holds a remarkable personal record: a 27 plus hour set at the Sunwaves festival in Romania, topping his own previous record of 25 and a half hours set at Heart Club Miami.
