About
Juls, the British Ghanaian producer behind some of Afrobeats' most recognisable tracks, has spent well over a decade shaping how African pop sounds on a global stage. His beats powered Mr Eazi's cult hits "Bankulize" and "Skin Tight", and he produced "U Say" for GoldLink's Diaspora album, a track featuring Tyler, the Creator that he later flew to LA to appear in the video for. Winning Producer of the Year at both the Ghana Music Awards UK and AFRIMA Awards in 2017 cemented his reputation as one of the genre's key architects. Juls has never been content to stay in one lane. After releasing his debut album Leap of Faith in 2017, featuring a roster that included Kojey Radical and Maleek Berry, he travelled to South Africa in 2020 to immerse himself in Amapiano firsthand, which fed directly into his EP Happy Place. He also collaborated with Wande Coal, Burna Boy, and Stonebwoy along the way, and his 2021 release Sounds of My World and 2024's Peace and Love show he is still pushing his sound forward.
