Odeal, the stage name of Hillary Dennis Udanoh, has carved out a real presence in UK Afrobeats with a sound that pulls in R&B warmth alongside the genre's rhythmic energy. His 2024 EP Sunday at Zuri was the turning point: the track "Soh Soh" went viral on TikTok, climbed to number 3 on the UK Afrobeats Singles Chart, and cracked the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs at number 12. That kind of cross market traction is hard to fake. He runs his own imprint OVMBR and has since signed with Love Renaissance, the label behind some of R&B's most interesting voices. "You're Stuck" with Summer Walker peaked at number 2 on the UK Afrobeats chart, and Billboard named him African Rookie of the Year in 2025. Lately he has been putting out a steady stream of visuals, including "London Summers", "Miami" featuring Leon Thomas, and "Pretty Girls", all pointing to an artist in a very productive stretch.
